Position Description:Working with the Food Services Manager, coordinates and supervises the operations of the FoodServices Department in accordance with company policies and MOH-LTC legislation. LTC homesand residents are impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and are in dire need of individuals who areable to support them during this difficult time.Potential Responsibilities May Include:● Helps oversee all duties performed by the dietary staff● Supervises the preparation and service of all meals and nourishments● Ensures that food is prepared according to standardized menus and recipes and are suitable for residents● Forecasts menu requirements and prepares production sheets and orders for staff● Ensures that cleaning and safety procedures are followed during pandemic protocol● Assists in completing regular inventory and grocery orders● Assists in the orientation of new employees● Resolves routine work problems and grievances● Assists in the staff training and education program● Other duties as required, including some clinical nutrition duties (as needed)Qualifications:● Must be a member of CSNM (Canadian Society of Nutrition Management)● Point Click Care, Synergy on Demand, and Microsoft Office tools an asset● Excellent communication and organizational skills● Good interpersonal skills for dealing with all types of people● Good problem solving skills● The ability to work effectively in a team environment● The ability to remain composed when faced with unexpected problems and stressful situations● A love of food● A resident-focused approachApplication Procedure:Qualified candidates please send your: ☒ ResumeContact Name/Title: Maria Biasutti, RDEmail: support@joultonandassociates.comOr visit our website at www.joultonandassociates.com
