Northern Health has an opening for a Coordinator of Food Services. The successful candidate will be in charge of managing the food service operations for three long-term care kitchens in Prince George, BC. These three operations provide meals for approximately 200 long-term care residents, 50 assisted living residents and 25 seniors day centre clients every day.

Qualifications

 

  • The ideal candidate will be a Registered Dietitian or a Nutrition Manager (CSNM designation). This person is well-organized, has good time management and leadership skills, works well independently and in a team.

 

If you care deeply about improving the mealtime experience of long-term care residents, want to work in a supportive local and regional support services team, and be a true change maker and strategic thinker in the provision of nutrition in long-term care, this is the position for you!
