PART-TIME FOOD SERVICE SUPERVISOR – HAMILTON AREA

Nutritional Management Services has an immediate opening for an enthusiastic and professional Food Service Supervisor for a part-time position in our client’s long-term care site located in the Hamilton area.  The ideal candidate is willing to work days and afternoons and must be available for 7 days a week for coverage of A.M. and P.M. shifts.

Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

• CSNM member in good standing
• A current police check with vulnerable persons screening
• 1-2 years prior food service supervisory experience ideally in a long-term care setting or we will consider training a new CSNM member
• Current Food Handler’s certification
• Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
• Knowledgeable regarding MOHLTC compliance standards
• Flexibility to report to work with short notice
• Resident focused with a caring attitude
• A sense of urgency to respond to varying situations as they arise
• Ability to safely operate food service equipment
• Adherence to strict health, safety and sanitation procedures
• Ability to lift and carry food or supplies inventory of up to 30 lbs.
• Computer experience with Microsoft Office software
